Boston Portfolio Advisors is currently acting in an Asset Management capacity for a Midwestern bank that was examined by the OCC. The OCC was concerned about this bank’s ability to sustain itself as a viable entity, and required the bank to hire experts to manage their portfolio of commercial seal vessel loans. 

The bank hired Boston Portfolio Advisors, and we currently manage their loan portfolio and operations.  With approximately 80% of the bank’s original loan portfolio containing seriously delinquent and under-performing loans, the bulk of our portfolio management tasks have dealt with creating and implementing effective loan workout solutions for some very unique loans and collateral.  81% of the portfolio is now performing, near-performing, or paid-off.  We report to the OCC on a monthly basis regarding the status of the portfolio, activities performed, and improvements.
