President & Chief Executive Officer

Tom is President and Chief Executive Officer of Boston Portfolio Advisors, responsible for the firm’s vision and strategic direction. He has led BPA’s evolution into an integrated operating platform spanning fund administration, credit and loan administration, risk management, master servicing, valuation, and related advisory services—supporting funds, banks, and other capital markets participants across the credit lifecycle.

With more than 40 years in financial services, Tom has worked across structured finance, risk, and portfolio management. Before BPA, he was a Partner at Ernst & Young in Structured Finance and a Managing Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers leading its Structured Finance Group, with earlier corporate and investment banking roles at CIBC, Citigroup, and Chase Manhattan Bank (JPMorgan).

Kathy Palmer

Kathy Palmer

Managing Director

Kathy is Managing Director at Boston Portfolio Advisors, responsible for the firm’s operating strategy and the development of scalable operating infrastructure across the organization. She works across BPA’s businesses to connect strategy with execution—strengthening how the firm operates, scales, and delivers for clients, including private credit managers, specialty finance companies, banks, and other capital providers.

She brings deep credit-lifecycle operating experience to the role, including oversight of operations representing more than $7 billion in assets and a central role in building BPA’s Master Servicing and Credit Administration platforms. Since joining BPA in 2013, her responsibilities have expanded from leading complex operating functions into her current firm-wide role. Before BPA, she worked in civil litigation and transactional law.

Desiree Daly

Desiree Daly

Chief Risk Officer

Desiree is Chief Risk Officer at Boston Portfolio Advisors, responsible for risk oversight across the firm’s risk management, due diligence, and backup servicing work. She brings structure and consistency to complex engagements and works across functions to identify risks, surface operational gaps, and strengthen continuity through structured analysis and control frameworks.

Her focus includes transaction and platform-level evaluations, servicer and portfolio monitoring, operational diligence, and the assessment of servicing structures and risk frameworks. With more than 30 years in financial services, Desiree joined BPA in 2002 after serving as Vice President of Operations in the mortgage sector and earlier roles in finance.

Andrei Itkis

Andrei Itkis

Director

Andrei is a Director at Boston Portfolio Advisors and leads the firm’s fund administration platform. He oversees the fund administration lifecycle—including fund accounting, NAV oversight, investor reporting, treasury, and regulatory compliance—and is responsible for the performance, scalability, and operational effectiveness of the function, with a focus on high-integrity processes and reliable financial reporting across complex fund structures.

Before BPA, Andrei served as Head of Fund Operations at Kore Capital, where he led operations across accounting, compliance, and technology, streamlining workflows, strengthening reporting frameworks, and supporting audits and business continuity. He began his career at Citigroup.

Director

Elti is a Director at Boston Portfolio Advisors, responsible for the firm’s technology strategy and execution. He owns BPA’s technology architecture and data environment, designing and building infrastructure that supports the firm’s operating platforms—including client-facing tools, reporting platforms, data integrations, and workflow-driven systems aligned with operational and reporting requirements.

Since joining BPA in 2017, Elti has helped build the technology infrastructure supporting the firm’s increasingly complex operating environment. His work across automation, data integration, and advanced reporting improves visibility into performance, strengthens operational controls, and enables scalable delivery across complex credit platforms. Before BPA, he worked at an investment and accounting firm focused on analysis, modeling, analytics, and business systems.

Director

Eric is a Director at Boston Portfolio Advisors, responsible for master servicing and recovery strategy across defaulted credit portfolios. He oversees post-default servicing frameworks, third-party collections, agency management, performance monitoring, and regulatory compliance—aligning recovery strategies with portfolio characteristics, investor expectations, and regulatory requirements, with emphasis on performance measurement and accountability.

Before BPA, Eric was Senior Director of Post Default Strategy & Execution at Sallie Mae, where he led recovery strategy across loan sales, internal servicing, third-party collections, and litigation, including vendor management and performance scorecards. He brings more than 20 years of experience in recovery operations and collections oversight.

Vineet Nanda

Vineet Nanda

Head of Valuations

Vineet is a Director at Boston Portfolio Advisors and leads the firm’s valuation practice, supporting financial reporting, transactions, and portfolio-level analysis. He oversees valuation services across financial reporting—including ASC 820—tax, and transaction-related analyses such as fairness and solvency work, with particular depth in debt, equity, and derivative positions across private and public companies, including illiquid and complex securities.

He also supports credit administration through borrowing base modeling, covenant tracking, and data validation, including identification of data-integrity issues in borrowing base reporting. Before joining BPA in 2023, Vineet was a Vice President at Valuation Research Corporation and Houlihan Capital.

Slawka Ratajska

Director

Slawka is a Director at Boston Portfolio Advisors, responsible for fund accounting execution across client engagements supporting private credit and structured finance platforms. Her work spans transaction processing, financial statement preparation, investor reporting, and the onboarding of new funds and entities—managing the transition from launch into ongoing accounting operations and establishing structured reporting processes that support consistent, scalable delivery.

As a subject matter expert in fund accounting, Slawka provides technical guidance on complex accounting matters and supports the consistent application of accounting standards across client engagements. She joined BPA in 2017 after building her foundation at Franklin Templeton Investments, where she worked across mutual and hedge funds in global markets.

Eric is a Director at Boston Portfolio Advisors, responsible for systems support and enterprise data management. He maintains the reliability of platforms that support firm operations, aligning systems with business needs, enabling effective reporting and workflows, and reinforcing controls across the operating environment.

He has led system implementations and data initiatives that strengthen infrastructure for complex credit portfolios. He joined BPA in 2014 after senior accounting and financial leadership roles, including Controller at Pidilite USA and Director at Jet Aviation, with experience leading system implementations including SAP. He brings more than 30 years of experience across systems, data, and financial operations.

Director

Tom is a Director at Boston Portfolio Advisors, responsible for robotic process automation and machine learning solutions across the firm’s operating workflows. He works with business and subject-matter experts to translate processes into automated solutions supporting loan-level workflows, portfolio monitoring, and reporting—converting complex data processes into structured, repeatable workflows that improve accuracy and throughput.

His work has been central to scaling BPA’s master servicing platform and supporting private credit servicing and fund operations. Before joining BPA in 2021, he was Vice President of Investment Risk Management at Franklin Templeton Investments, with earlier senior roles at HeCalls, LaSalle Bank N.A., and Templeton.
